Organic Search Engine
Optimisation
SEO - Search Engine Optimisation [organic search results]
'If something sounds too good to be true, it
probably is'
If your
business is in a competitive market, then in all probability any preferred 'keyword' or 'keyword phrase' you choose
to focus on already attracts a great deal of interest. You should exercise caution if you are told that you will be
No. 1 on Page 1 of Google for your 'competitive' keyword or keyword phrase, without spending a great deal of time
and money. A place on Page 1 is difficult enough never mind the No.1 position.
It should
be possible to eventually achieve a high ranking position on Google if your preferred keywords are unusual or in a
'niche' market, with a low search count, but there are still no guarantees, particularly if the website is not
'Google friendly'.
Search engine optimization ( SEO
) is
the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural"
("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. Typically, the higher a site's "page rank" (i.e, the earlier it comes
in the search results list), the more visitors it will receive from the search
engine.

Organic Search Engine Optimisation -
explained
Organic Search Engine Optimisation Marketing (SEO) is about creating websites with structure
and content/text [known as 'on-page'
factors] which when analysed by Google, is
seen to meet Google's criteria i.e. 'Google friendly'.
This
analysis takes place when the Search Engines send out automated 'Spider' to examine each website. Google's spider
is known as 'Googlebot'. If your website has been constructed correctly and 'on-page' factors optimised there
should be every chance that Google will index your site with possibility that you will achieve favourable results
in the organic Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs).
In
addition to 'on-page' factors Organic Search Engine Optimisation also includes 'off-page' factors such as 'article
submissions', 'back-linking', 'article submissions' and 'posting on blogs'.
You may be
told that some aspects of Organic Search Engine Optimisation can be automated by using 'software applications'. To
some extent this is true but also dangerous because search engines can detect 'automated software' and they frown
upon this type of SEO. Ethical Organic Search Engine Optimisation still requires methodical, painstaking work,
accuracy and attention to detail.
In a
competitive market any website will be unable to maintain a high ranking position if the key pages are not
up-dated.
Each and
every website needs a different Optimisation Strategy and we will always be happy to discuss your specific
requirements.
